Privacy Policy — EDOS Scholar Research Assistant

EDOS Scholar Research Assistant uses the Gmail API with read-only access to retrieve Google Scholar Alert emails from the account explicitly authorized by the user.

The application uses information from these messages to identify and organize academic publications for research and editorial purposes.

The application may store copies of relevant Scholar Alert messages and extracted bibliographic metadata locally as part of the research workflow.

Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, or shared with third parties except where required for the operation of the application or by law.

The application does not send, delete, or modify Gmail messages.

Access can be revoked at any time through the user’s Google Account security settings.

The use of information received from Google Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google Workspace API User Data and Developer Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
